Tahini sauce

Tahini sauce is a popular vegan Levantine and Egyptian sauce.

 1 cup tahini paste (sesame paste)
 1 lemon (juiced)
 ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
 1 tsp ground black pepper
 1 cup lukewarm water
 1-3 fresh garlic cloves
 ¼ cup fresh parsley leaves (optional)

Add tahini paste, garlic cloves, lemon juice,salt, pepper and fresh parsley leaves (optional) to food processor.

Blend until smooth while gradually adding water to get your desired consistency. I used a cup of lukewarm water for a cup of tahini paste. You may need to adjust amount of salt depending on how much water is added.
